Environmental Action Club
The Environmental Action Club consists of individuals that are motivated to learn about local, state, and global environmental concerns and take action.

Native Seeds/SEARCH works to conserve, distribute and document the adapted and diverse varieties of agricultural seed, their wild relatives and the role these seeds play in cultures of the American Southwestern and northwest Mexico.
In February 2001, the National Wildlife Federation (NWF), the nation’s largest conservation group, announced its acquisition of eNature.com. The non-profit eNature site continues to operate independently, but now shares unparalleled content and nature discovery tools with the non-profit NWF.org.
Big Bend is one of the largest and least visited of America's national parks. Over 800,000 acres await your exploration and enjoyment. From an elevation of less than 2,000 feet along the Rio Grande to nearly 8,000 feet in the Chisos Mountains, Big Bend includes massive canyons, vast desert expanses, and the entire Chisos Mountain range.
The Southwest Forest Alliance is a Flagstaff based forest advocacy group that since 1994 has focused on grassroots organizing within the environmental community in Arizona and New Mexico. The Southwest Forest Alliance was formed to develop a scientifically based vision for restoring degraded forest ecosystems and to seek public support for this vision. These efforts have focused on the protection of old growth forests and damaged watersheds.
This is a collection of photographs taken in Inyo National Forest where the bristlecone pines have been studied. Plants in the region have been aged at close to 5,000 years old. This data has been used by scientists to develop a dendochronology calendar that goes back almost 8,700 years.
