Tuition Schedule:

In-County Tuition applies to persons residing in the county of Maricopa. If you are moving/have moved to Maricopa county from another county within the State of Arizona, the residency requirement is 50 days (2 months). If you are moving/have moved to Arizona from another state, the residency requirement is 12 months. For more information on residency requirements and the criteria used, please visit the MCCCD website.

  Audit Fees: $96.00 per credit hour which includes:

  General Tuition & Fees- $71.00
  Audit Fee - $25.00

  Credit by Examination and Credit by Evaluation:

  Per Credit Hour, Regular Rate - $69.00
  Per Credit Hour, Contract Testing rate - $34.50

  Additional Fees: Additional Fees may be required for particular classes (e.g. Computer Labs, etc.) See Schedule of Classes for additional fee requirements.

  Distance Learning Tuition:

  • $71.00 per credit hour for in-county residents.*
  • $71.00 per credit hour for students from Arizona counties with reciprocal agreements with Maricopa County.**
  • $174.00 per credit hour for students who reside in Apache County, Greenlee County or Santa Cruz County -- or out of state or out of country.
  • Military tuition rates are determined by the home of record for the military member.

  Out of State WUE Tuition: $106.50 per credit hour (Out-of-state students participating in the Western Undergraduate Exchange Program.)

  Concurrent Enrollment in Arizona Public Institutions of Higher Education (A.R.S. 15-1807)

  "It is unlawful for any non-resident student to register concurrently in two or more public institutions of higher education in this state including any university, college or community college for a combined student credit hour enrollment of more than six (6) credit hours without payment of non-resident tuition at one of such institutions"

  * In-county residents are those whose home of record is Maricopa County.
  **Reciprocal agreements guarantee in-county tuition rates for residents of all Arizona counties except Apache, Greenlee, & Santa Cruz Counties.
