Attendance

Attendance

The most important thing you can do is attend class.

Absences begin to accumulate with the first scheduled class meeting. Students who fail to attend the first scheduled class meeting, or to contact the instructor regarding absence before the first schedule class meeting may, at the option of the instructor, be withdrawn. Students bear the repsonsibility of notifying the Office of Admissions and Records when they discontinue studies in a course or at the college. Please refer to the Withdrawal Procedures.

Eligibility for refunds and withdrawal are determined by the date the request for withdrawal is received by the Admissions & Records Office. It is the student's responsibility to consult with the instructor regarding official or unofficial absences. Students who do not meet the attendance requirement as determined by the course instructor may be withdrawn.

For more complete information on withdrawal policies visit the District website.
