To succeed in an online course it is essential that you be willing to seek help when you need it. In addition, you must be persistent in your requests for information and resources. Distance Learners must be assertive. They cannot wait for information to come to them: they must go out and get the information they need.
If you experience problems with your Internet connection, first contact your Internet Service Provider (e.g., AOL, Qwest, and Cox). It is best for you and your Internet Service Provider to communicate directly to work toward a resolution. They will also know if there are problems with the connection that may be interfering with service.
Also, the Technology Support Services group at Mesa Community College will assist you with technical issues.
