Philosophy

Socrates died 2,400 years ago, but the examination of our lives is just as important today as it ever was. To be a fully realized human being, we still need to ask what our motivation is. To know how to live a good life, we still need to ask what a good life really is. If we want to vote, or build a great marriage, or guide our kids to a safe and satisfying adulthood, we need to have some tools to help us think things through.

And that is where we come in. Socrates, Plato, Aristotle -- and Confucius and Augustine and Kant and countless others -- have been trying to help us think this stuff through. Our job is to help you connect a long line of thinkers to your own everyday lives.
