PUBLIC NOTICE - UPCOMING NURSING ACCREDITATION VISIT BY NLNAC

Mesa Community College is seeking continuing accreditation of the two sites of the Associate Degree of Nursing program; Mesa Banner Boswell at 104th Ave and Thunderbird in Sun City, and Mesa Main at Southern and Dobson in Mesa. The public is invited to meet the visiting team and share comments related to the nursing program at a public forum to be held:

The Maricopa Community College District Nursing Program (MCCDNP) is offered at nine Maricopa Community Colleges. A variety of course schedules are offered at selected sites and include full time, accelerated, part-time, and on-line options. Clinical experiences are provided in a variety of in-patient and out-patient settings. MCCDNP website.

Certified Nurse AssistantCNA - Certified Nurse Assistant

CNAs can be found in nursing homes, hospitals, adult day health centers, assisted living facilities, even personal homes. Wherever there is a need for personal care, Certified Nursing Assistants are the ones who, for the most part, perform the most basic needs for patients, young and old alike. You will work under the supervision of a registered nurse. Since CNAs have extensive daily contact with each patient, you are key to providing vital information on the patients' conditions to the nurse.
Nurse RefresherNurse Refresher

Mesa Community College offers a Registered Nurse Refresher program on the internet. The program consists of two courses that are approved by the Arizona State Board of Nursing for licensure in the state of Arizona only.

The Banner Boswell Nursing Education Program is a program site of the Maricopa Community College District Nursing Program [MCCDNP]. Banner Health and Mesa Community College developed the partnership in 1982 to provide nursing education to students in the northwest valley. The Banner Boswell Nursing Education Program is a fully accredited National League of Nursing program.
