Introduction to engineering statics, including force systems, resultants, equilibrium of particles and rigid bodies, introduction to centroids and centers of mass, area moments of inertia, distributed loading, and friction. 2 credits, 3 periods

(ECE103 or ECE103AB), and (MAT230 or MAT231), and (PHY115 or PHY121)
