A traditional format indicates the class is offered in a classroom with fixed start and stop times/dates.

Open Entry online classes are self-paced classes for students who can work without the traditional classroom instruction.  There are no lectures or regularly scheduled classes.  You complete the class at your own pace.  Students may register at any time during the semester and are given a specific start and end date.

Hybrid classes combine classroom and online instruction.  They meet face-to face less frequently than traditional classes, but offer more personal instructor contact than fully online classes.  Though the exact format of the class depends upon the particular course, most often course delivery is split fairly even between the classroom and online.
