MCC’s Center for Community Education is pleased to offer you courses from ed2go, one of the world’s leading providers of distance learning programs for adults.

We invite you to join over 750,000 students who have taken the ed2go courses through their College or University. Each course comes with a patient and caring instructor, lively discussions with your fellow students, and plenty of practical information that you can put to immediate use. The ed2go faculty includes some of the most well known and trusted names in online education.

You can take all of the online courses from the comfort of your home or office at times that are most convenient to you. A new section of each course starts monthly. All courses run for six to eight weeks and are composed of 12 lessons, representing 24 or more hours of instruction. You can ask questions and give or receive advice at any time during the course. Upon successful completion of the course, you will be able to download a handsome certificate of completion from ed2go.

Your Lessons:
Each lesson is posted on the Internet at 9 am PST on Wednesday and Friday for a total of 12 lessons. You have five days following the lesson posting to access your lesson. To stay on task, it is recommended that you complete each lesson within 10 days** after the class is released. You can print an ed2go certificate of completion when you finish your class.

**You may request a “one time”, 10 day, class extension by going to the Admin link on the ed2go website.

Your Registration:

  1. Select your course and your start date
  2. You may register three ways:
    • Call the Center for Community Education at 480-461-7493 to register with a credit card.
    • Register on-line at www.mc.maricopa.edu/
      organizations/community/comm_ed/
    • Mail your registration form and check to MCC,
      Center for Community Education at 1833 West Southern Avenue, Mesa, AZ 85202.
  3. Your registration should be completed one week prior to the start date of your class.

Your Orientation:
After you have registered, go to www.ed2go.com/mccce and select Orientation. Complete the information and MCC will confirm your registration in your chosen class. At this site you will find the class syllabus, meet the instructor and read past evaluations when you select your course.

On Your Start Date:

  • Go to www.ed2go.com/mccce
  • Click on the link ‘Classroom’ and complete the log in procedure to access your lesson.
To view rotating messages you must be using 5.0 generation browser.
