Research Opportunities:

With over 350 sections of honors classes in 20 different disciplines you have the opportunity to participate in faculty research projects.


MCC/ASU Honors Alliance:

MCC Honors credits are accepted by other colleges and universities and the MCC President Scholars may participate in the MCC/ASU Honors Alliance. President Scholars with a 3.75 GPA also have the opportunity to apply for an Alliance scholarship (up to $2000). This scholarship is for Alliance members only.

*Applies to Maricopa County High School graduates. State law now requires that a person who is not a citizen or legal resident of the United States or who is without lawful immigration status is not entitled to tuition waivers, fee waivers, scholarship assistance, tuition assistance or any other type of financial assistance that is subsidized or paid in whole or in part with state monies.

Successful Transfer:

The MCC education has been shown to positively impact the academic performance of students in their university studies. In fact, a recent study of MCC students who transferred to an Arizona state university revealed that as the number of MCC transfer credits increased, so did the student's first-year GPA at the university (with an average of 3.0 for all MCC students). Study Abroad:

Earn transferable college credit while experiencing a foreign culture. MCC's study abroad programs enable you the opportunity to study in different cultures and provides free time to explore unique areas of the world. MCC offers study abroad programs to Europe, Ireland, Mexico, Spain, Belgium, China and Italy.
