Welcome to the Mesa Community College Architecture &
Construction Program.
This page is a starting point for gathering ARC,
CNS, DFT, BLT, CET, & ELC information
and getting registered for class. At MCC we can do all the "paperwork" online
if you wish.
The Construction Program at
MCC offers AAS and AS degrees (tracks) in Construction Management, Construction Drafting, and Construction Inspection and many certificates.
Construction Management students
are able to learn the process of field operations and office operations
for any size and type of construction projects. This will give
the students the opportunity to transfer to a four year university such
as ASU East. We are working to create greater transfer opportunities
to ASU's Del Webb School of Construction and other universities.
Construction Drafting students are able
to learn the basics to drafting for various construction projects such as civil, mechanical, electrical, and architectural. This will give the students the opportunity
to transfer to a four year university such as ASU East. We are working
to create greater transfer opportunities to other universities.
Construction Inspection students are able to learn various inspections processes for all types of buildings. This degree prepares the students for residential (home) inpsections, building inspection and plan reviewing. This will give the students the opportunity to transfer to a four year university such as ASU East. We are working to create greater transfer opportunities to other universities.
Job Opportunities: the above three degrees give the students
the opportunity to work with private companies, and public agencies in
a variety of inspection and plan reviewing opportunities
on either single building projects or large-scale developments.
