Welcome to the Mesa Community College Architecture Program.
This page is a starting point for gathering ARC,
CNS, DFT, BLT, CET, & ELC information
and getting registered for class. At MCC we can do all the "paperwork" online
if you wish.
The Architecture Program at MCC offers an AAS and AS degrees (tracks) in Architecture Design, Architecture Drafting, and Urban Development and many certificates.
Architecture Design students
are able to learn the building design process and procedures for
all types of architectural design on board and computer. We are
working to create greater transfer opportunities to ASU Main,
Cal Poly and other universities.
Architecture Drafting students are able
to learn the drafting and documentation process for all types of architectural
drawing on board and computer. This will give the students the opportunity
to transfer to a four year university such as ASU East. We are working
to create greater transfer opportunities to other universities.
Urban Development students are able to learn the land development process, as well as appropriate land use and procedures applied to residential, commercial, recreational and industrial areas. This will give the students the opportunity to transfer to a four year university such as ASU East. We are working to create greater transfer opportunities to ASU Main and other universities.
Job Opportunities: the above three degrees give the students
the opportunity to work with private companies, and public agencies in
a variety of design, development, documentation and planning situations
on either single building projects or large-scale developments.
I would recommend you read our FAQs
